The UK labour market continues to improve, including for the 50+. The number in work has risen by 352,000 in the past year and the employment rate for 50-64 year olds has risen faster (+1.6%) than for any other age group over that period. Most key indicators are continuing to head in the right direction and once again the number of people aged 50-64 in work has risen to a record high.
