Reports of abuse against OAPs increases by 28% in one year, charity warns

Reports of suspected abuse against vulnerable older people has increased by 28%, a charity has warned. English councils recorded 105,000 alerts for alleged abuse against people aged 65 or over in 2012/13, up from 82,000 during the previous year.
