Latest UK Employment Figures Released

The latest set of UK employment figures released by the Office for National Statistics show that in the three months from March to May, the overall number of people in work in the UK rose by 16,000 to 29.71 million, whilst the number who were unemployed fell by 57,000 to 2.50 million. However, the number of long-term unemployed - those out of work for 12 months or more - was up by 15,000 to 915,000.
