The number of over 65s in work is set to continue rising as more and more retirees struggle to get by on their pensions, according to new research. This year the number of workers aged 65 and over broke the one million mark for the first time, with the latest employment figures from the Office for National Statistics showing 618,000 men and 389,000 women aged 65+ still in work.
