Permanent Salaries Rise at Fastest Rate for Six Years @TAEN_UK

The latest Report on Jobs published today, shows a rise in starting salaries for candidates securing permanent roles in October – the strongest rate of increase since December 2007. While this is welcome news, it comes in part as a result of a six year low in the availability of staff to fill vacant roles.  The monthly publication also highlights continued growth in staff appointments with recruitment consultants signallingfurther increases in both permanent placements and temporary billings during October, although these were slightly down on the previous month. Overall demand for staff grew at its fastest pace since June 2007…
