A guest blog from the Warm Homes Scheme.
The Warm Homes Scheme is funded by the Department for Social Development and is the Department’s primary tool in tackling fuel poverty in Northern Ireland. The Scheme aims to make your home warmer, healthier and more energy-efficient.
The new Warm Homes Scheme was launched in July 2009. The Scheme is open to households of any age, where the applicant is a home owner or rents their home from a private landlord and is in receipt of a qualifying benefit.
